My final paper is on the ideal that an instrument can have an archetypal male or female energy. I have looked at many different resources and thought of a couple different elements of how to approach it to put together my thesis on whether instrument’s can be determined to be male, female or androgynous and how that could be applied in a sound healing modality or in creating a type of therapeutic music.
