I wrote my final report on the Mala Necklace. Mala beads have been around a long time, in a cave known as Blambo at the southern tip of Africa some nassarius shell beads were found strung on a cord and warn as a decoration. Archaeologist said these beads are from around the 70,000 BCE. (Before common era) same as (BC before Christ) Mala means Garland. Bead comes from “Bebe” means to pray or prayer. Tassel represents higher consciousness or the Lotus Flower. Japa means to mutter. Mantra means words, groups of words, syllable or sounds that are repeated to increase focus & energy. Ancient Sanskrit mantras are believed to have spiritual energy when repeated or prayed with.
