We will examine the sacred medicine songs of three traditions with a focus on the Icaros of South American Shamanism. We will compare these songs to the mantras of Tibetan Buddhism, and Vedic Hinduism. As we examine these traditions, we’ll discover not only their differences, but the myriad similarities which reveal fundamental truths about the energetic structure of our world.
