This paper is about the challenges people face staying in flow in a modern world. I argue that current times bring new types of challenges that directly affect the health of our energetic bodies and therefore, our flow. People go in and out of flow, if at all, but it is not sustained or consistent. I describe how the modern world directly impacts our lower energetic systems, specifically, and offer ways of healing and bringing them back to balance. I bring awareness to how these lower energy systems, namely the sacral and root chakra, operate and function in our bodies. Then propose ways of balancing these systems. I argue that awareness of our environment, and our physical and spiritual bodies is fundamental to healing, and that we must refocus our attention from our upper chakras to our lower chakras to reach oneness, or flow. I suggest that people often value and tend to the upper chakras more than the lower ones, assuming that the upper chakras are a direct line to source and intuition. Yet I show how the lower chakras must be worked on as a prerequisite, and are foundational to achieving flow. I end the paper with a reminder that the world is still good, that we must focus on what is good.
