I was sitting on the deck of a friend’s house after returning from the summer intensive at Globe Institute. I had put it out to the universe that I needed a topic. On this particular day the sound of a hummingbird caught my attention. That sound has always been enjoyable, but mysterious to me, and I decided right there it would be my topic.
