Sound is a phenomenon of nature, like electricity is. It exists in the realm of the inaudible until it passes through a medium and it becomes audible.Therefore, it resides in the Divine and it manifests itself as audible sound when it goes through the medium.It is not produced by the singer. it goes through the singer. it exists in itself.It is a divine manifestation in pure form.Therefore, the role of the singer is to be a part of the process of manifestation of sound, not sound production.

…..I discovered the whole story is in the humpback and their song. It’s a symphony of moans, shrieks, snorts, whines, clicks, and extended grunts, ranging from guttural-deep to soaring high, primal and universal, earthy and divine. It’s all in there. I become the song and the song becomes – or rather, is - me.

Why not put water and sound together for therapy? Fluid is especially responsive to sound. Sound travels 4 times faster in water (speeds vary due to the density of water) and penetrates the body in ways human hands and machines can not. Once sound is set in motion, cymatic patterns appear and are able to resonate within the body.

Through dieting with plants, shamans are often given icaros. Icaros are the language of the plants, a song given to the shaman to envoke the spirit of the plant for healing, protection, attack, and any other specific qualities of the plant. As one mestizo shaman puts it, “you cannot enter the world of spirits while remaining silent.” It is a two- way communication, the icaro is the language by which the shaman communicates with the plant, and through the icaro the plant will reply. Anthropoogist Graham Townsley explains, “the most frequent and important activity of a shaman is chanting.”

Abstract: on this paper, the author is investigating the benefits of using imagination as an interactive feedback in sound therapy. it is demonstrated that imagination can be a vibratory representation of human energetic dissociation at all levels and then becomes a powerful and interactive tool for the sound healing therapist as well as a log tool for successive healing sessions. They called Vedanta since it is the studies of the Vedas scriptures, books written in verses, poetry usually called Sutras that were channeled by the ancient mystics of India, the Richies. They were transmitted in the form of poetry and chants generations after generations from the teachers to the disciples. They were the origin and substratum of a vast religion: Sanatana Dharma known popularly as Hinduism. And they are also part of an incredible compiled knowledge of many different sciences in India, medicine, mathematics, astrology, etc.
The Indian Cosmology is expressed in the Sutras (Sacred Verses) that comprehend the science of Ayurveda. It is a science of truth as it is expressed in life; it encompasses science, religion and philosophy.

Water and sound’s profound connection is like no other relationship in the physical world. Sound and vibration constantly influence water whether or not the effect is consciously directed, and water constantly impacts the very foundation of our bodies and the Earth. Every thought we think, all the frequencies we encounter, the music we listen to, and the words we speak, send vibration into the very essence of our beings and changes the water crystals within us accordingly. Water flows as the most important substance next to breath that we need to intake into our physical bodies, which are approximately two thirds water. I was gifted with a little five month old baby boy named Nathan in 1991, through the Fostercare System in San Francisco, California. I knew he had been termed a "special needs baby" because his mother had been homeless and living on the streets in San Francisco, but since I had worked with "autistic" and "mentally challenged" children for awhile I felt that nurture would win out over nature.….. I was able to give him experiences in several healing modalities (like psychotherapy at Langley-Porter, a weekly psycotherapy session with a social worker, looked into biofeedback but was told it would not be good for him, bought the Voyager XL with sound and lights, did a lot of research through HeatMath and, or course, my own Reiki treatments. The wonderful part of this whole scenario is that Nathan was (and is) an amazing child. He always loved our dogs (and his bearded dragon). He was creative and "thought outside the box" on just about everything. He has always been completely infatuated...

This author shares how music, chanting and breathwork can be a drug free form of treatment for grief.
The first part of the prescription for my healing was creating a loop of the song I wrote for my sister. I will use it in meditation, using the sound to bring up the feelings of grief, sadness, loss and love. I will sing the lyrics with the intention of not only feeling all that I can, for that is one key to healing, but to also release those feelings through sound, through my voice, to the universe where the energy can be recycled
