Snoring and obstructive sleep apnea effects many people across the world and can lead to serious medical issues. Choir director Alise Ojay created the “Singing for Snorers” which includes singing exercises that strengthen and tone a person’s mouth and throat muscles to help keep their airway more open. So far, two studies have shown these exercises can potentially help with both of these conditions. https://soundhealingresearchfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/JCiabattoni_Using-Singing-Exercises-to-Decrease-Snoring-and-OSA.mp4

Sound Wellness and Communication, Incorporating the Energy of Gemstone- Infused Quartz Crystal Alchemy Singing Bowls   Crystal Bowls are made of silica sand combined with water and heated to 3000 to 4000 degrees. Quartz is naturally a transducer of energy, so it can transform a lower, dense vibration to a higher more refined frequency. Sound produces a bio-acoustic response in the body, called acoustic luminescence, which means sound produces light in the cells. When crystal bowls are activated, the vibration triggers neurons, which create coherent and entrained brainwave states and consciousness shifts. These altered states that allow the body to reach a state of homeostasis, to rejuvenate, to deeply relax, and to restore.

In the beginning of doing this work I had never worked with these being called the Hathors but once they came into contact with me I knew who they were. A colleague of mine channels the Hathors and through him I meet them. When I started the course during the first week in my meditation the Hathors came in.

My final paper revolved around the power and origins of throat singing. I go into a bit of the history within the introduction, and dive further into the various styles of Tuvan Throat Singing: Khoomei, Kargyraa, and Sygyt. Each of the styles are explained in detail in regards to physical anatomy of the throat, and goes into exactly how they are executed. After moving on from each of the primary chanting styles, I specifically talk about the benefits that throat singing provides like connecting to the roots which were sung before the human language, understanding polyphonic singing, vibrating the vagus nerve, and a couple of other interesting benefits. Then, I sum it all up and suggest throat singing as something to perhaps incorporate in daily routine/ritual, as I do every morning.

My paper is called Illumination Stimulated by Waves. It describes a personal experience illuminated by the bioluminescence that was lighting up the beaches here in Southern California recently. I describe a path which I call “unified polarity within the heart” and share how that has, at times, led me to experiencing oneness and singularity. I also created a video, reading it aloud with imagery, to share with class when it’s my turn. It’s a bit under 9 minutes in length. Just in case there are any technical playback issues on my end, I wanted you to have the file accessible as well. Here is the link to the file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8qibzx60brl049w/SH%20Final%20Jude.mp4?dl=0

Attuning ourselves to our home note and our purpose via meditation using rhythm; utilizes both tools to bring ourselves back to “center”.  We can open and align in ways that our ancestors did for eons.  We are going to look at meditation and drumming, then we will look at combining them.  We will then see the how the heart of the mind, the mind of the heart, and our inherent home note align our very elements.

I have written about the electric body. I talk about how the body is electric and what that means in terms of health. I explore how our electricity can be out of balance, how that is measured and ways to bring it back in to balance so we can be healthy. Electricity is vital to life and vital to our human bodies. Without electricity, whether outside our bodies or within, we wouldn’t be able to live. Electricity is a form of energy. In a battery, electrons and protons are kept separated until a charge is needed. They only come together when a switch is flipped, producing a current. Without this electrical energy we wouldn’t be able to create fire for cooking. We wouldn’t be able to see without the light it creates. And we certainly couldn’t survive without electricity to power all of our technology in this day and age. There is an electrical current running through our cells as well, which is required by our nervous system in order for our brain to be able to send s...

This purpose of this document is to give a brief history and description of an EEG, and also show some of the less expensive models available, along with the easiest software I could find for creating graphs. I do not go into the different brain states (Delta, Theta, Alpha, etc.) as this was covered in class.
