I have written about the electric body. I talk about how the body is electric and what that means in terms of health. I explore how our electricity can be out of balance, how that is measured and ways to bring it back in to balance so we can be healthy. Electricity is vital to life and vital to our human bodies. Without electricity, whether outside our bodies or within, we wouldn’t be able to live. Electricity is a form of energy. In a battery, electrons and protons are kept separated until a charge is needed. They only come together when a switch is flipped, producing a current. Without this electrical energy we wouldn’t be able to create fire for cooking. We wouldn’t be able to see without the light it creates. And we certainly couldn’t survive without electricity to power all of our technology in this day and age. There is an electrical current running through our cells as well, which is required by our nervous system in order for our brain to be able to send s...

This purpose of this document is to give a brief history and description of an EEG, and also show some of the less expensive models available, along with the easiest software I could find for creating graphs. I do not go into the different brain states (Delta, Theta, Alpha, etc.) as this was covered in class. EEG

My final paper is a low-threshold approach of inviting the vibration of playfulness, fun and laughter in one’s daily life. It is hands on and gives explanation to why we should vibrate more to that energy and how we can increase and sustain that energy in our day to day life. It will gradually change the mindset in seeing the importance of having that energy as a companion in our lives because it will contribute to a better world on so many levels. The presentations start with a video, an interview with a remarkable 90 year old French woman, called Pierrette Lassort. Then the first page talks about a soundhealing séance with her. She was born in Algeria, her parents were send there to rebuild the country. She grew up on a alone standing farm surrounded by the sounds of nature, no city noise, teaching French and music to children, living a peaceful life with her family. War broke out in 1962 and while being pregnant, they had to flee the country, while people around her were being killed and the silence changed into sounds of terror, creating fields of fear and anxiety . Back in France having to rebuild her life, fabricating intruments with her husband, imitating the sound of nature she grew up with. But for years she suffered from horrible nightmares and longed for the peaceful life she knew, before the war, longing to return to that happy place. In the sound healing séance, she regressed, traveling on the sound of...

The paper discusses our connection to low frequency sounds from our time in utero and how those sounds may create a deep and primal connection too low tones. I highlight an excerpt from a research study that examined high-pitch vs. low-pitch frequencies carrying a rhythm, and the participants ability to pick up on and follow rhythms when carried by low bass sounds. I discuss how this information may impact healing for specific diseases and issues caused by abnormal brain rhythms. Lastly, I touch on vibroacoustic therapy as a new(er) technology that can provide a powerful, tactile experience using these low frequencies. Vidi, Brittany Final Research Paper.docx

This paper is about focused energy/epigenetics and the power to affect change in the lives of children and adults. I have always had a natural curiosity about people, energy, and our ability to create and alter our lives. I know, however, not everyone gets an equal opportunity for this to happen. As a Social Worker and Clinical Counselor I like to create a positive and empowering therapeutic relationship to help others find their strengths. Combining focused intention and Sound Healing Therapy is something I am looking forward to exploring and expanding. The Key

Research has shown that pyramid energy can have healing effects on plants, animals, people and the environment. Is it possible that this energy could be ‘fine-tuned’ by intentionally directing what energies enter into a pyramid’s field? This paper explores some of the ways pyramids have been used, how they gather and amplify energy and how it may be possible to influence the frequency of that energy. Throughout history, we can find evidence of the use of sound as medicine in just about every corner of the globe. Though most of the ancient practices have been nearly lost in recent history, it would be extremely difficult to find a human being who disagrees with the fact that music and sound affect us on many levels. Yet, we are reaching a pivotal point in western society in which the practice of using sound as therapy and treatment for a very wide range of issues is becoming more readily accepted. I believe there is much to be learned from all of the ancient and traditional practices - those that are still preserved, as well as those that have been lost - as we graciously enter into this new age of what has previously only been regarded as "alternative" medicine.   The History & Application of Sound Healing Across the Globe, At a Glance

Short Description
At the end of summer, one evening late in August, when I was 5 years old, my sister and I were in bed giggling. My sister was a year younger and we shared a room and a bed. There were many nights we played together before going to sleep. My parents were very upset with us on this particular night because it was a school night for me and my brother. He was a year older and slept in the room across the hall. My parent’s frustration increased when our giggling didn’t stop, so they told us there was a monster under our bed and the monster would “get us” if we didn’t go to sleep. As you can probably guess, this wasn’t the first time our parents used scare tactics to manipulate us, but there was something about this experience that was over-thetop scary for a 4 and 5-year-old! My sister threw the covers over her tiny body and curled up into a ball. I did the same. It was so dark under the covers, I couldn’t see a thing, and I was having trouble breathing, so my fear was intensifying. I wa...

Our hands are powerful tools for channeling healing energy to ourselves and others. The hands are capable of emitting the healing frequency range found in the earth’s magnetic field and in medical devices used for stimulating tissue repair and growth. When a loving intention is added to human touch, the heart energy amplifies the magnetic field and transmits more coherent and effective energy. In my paper, I introduce a few basic Healing Touch techniques to move and balance energy. Healing Touch can be synergistically combined with sound healing and other energy modalities to promote health and healing for the mind, body and spirit. Healing Touch research paper

The frequency of Bees is about the frequency of bees. Various frequencies were measured through recordings of Bees. It looks at ways they communicate, survive and thrive through these sound vibrations created by their frequency of wing movements. I then analyze the honeycomb and look for patterns found in nature, macrocosmos, and some interesting history of Bees. I then tie it all together. The Frequency of Bees
