In my Natural Medicine practice, 90% of my clients describe feelings of being overwhelmed, over-stimulated, erratic, having been told they have a so-called “auto-immune disease”, and have been taking anti-anxiety medication for a prolonged period of time. How is one able to make the necessary changes when a body is in a state of flight/fright/freeze? Or with a chaotic or blocked auric field? From my own experience in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction and an eating disorder, nourishing the nervous system was vital just to feel a glimpse of context of relief from the grip of the long-term effects of stress or trauma.
The need to neutralize, restore, and nourish the nervous system is essential at this time. As part of my health building protocol of herbs, foods, and flower essences for each of my clients, incorporating Sound Healing has become an essential ingredient to meet those disrupted frequencies with soothing sounds and create a sense of peace within the body so real...

My paper explores the concept of vibration therapy and its potential benefits, using the vibration exercise machine in combination with listening to classical music. Vibration therapy is a noninvasive, exercise-based approach that uses mechanical vibrations to stimulate muscles, and potentially improve various aspects of health and wellness. This therapy offers a range of applications for fitness, rehabilitation, and relaxation. My paper will provide an overview of the principles behind vibration therapy, discuss it effectiveness, and explore practical applications, and consideration when using vibration machines. The benefits of vibration therapy machines can be greatly enhanced by listening to classical music while experiencing the movement/motion for greater brain integration.
The benefits of vibration therapy enhance the brains neural pathways and are helpful for children, athletes, elderly, and everyone in between. Using vibration therapy machine plates with classical music i...

Autonomous sensory meridian response, more commonly known as ASMR, has been around for forever and only recently in the last few decades has been given a name. ASMR is when specific sounds and visuals trigger a pleasurable or relaxing tingling sensation in the crown, neck, shoulders and/or back. It can be used to de-stress as well as for immediate short-term benefits such as getting rid of headaches and helping to fall asleep. Although little research has been done, it has become a popular phenomenon.

According to The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) Alzheimer’s disease (AD) affects 5.4 million Americans, and millions more world-wide. With the aging baby boomer population, it is predicted this number with reach over 16 million in the US alone by the year 2050. Carrying the brunt of this epidemic are women, both as caregivers and patients. Women in their 60’s are twice as likely to develop AD than their male counterparts (Khalsa, 2015b). ARPF has done extensive research on an exercise called Kirtan Kriya that, when done for as little as 12 minutes a day, can provide benefits to those suffering with AD, and their caregivers. Some of the Kriya’s benefits include: Improved cerebral blood flow, improved sleep quality, reversal of memory loss, reduction in stress and depressive symptoms, no side effects or costs, and significant activation in anatomical areas of the brain, to name but a few (Khalsa, 2015b). This paper will share what makes up Kirtan Kriya, starting...

My paper is on the Science of Sentics. It explores the universal nature of emotional expression, highlighting the work of Dr. Manfred Clynes. He was a scientist and musician who explored the realm of emotions. His invention, the Sentograph measured precise data that was consistent in connecting different emotional states to specific muscular movements. There were consistent patterns across cultural lines, suggesting that emotional expression is biologically ingrained, not just culturally learned. Through Sentic cycles, running a series of emotions with its expression can enhance emotional well-being.

As an introvert, I am drawn to listen more intently to quieter things, to hear what they may have to say and deepen what I know about our world. What would an ancient bristlecone pine tell me about the last one thousand years? What kind of songs do daisies sing? Does wind from the Sun make a sound?

In this paper I am putting forth three areas of relationship to sound. In presenting these areas I want to see if I can demonstrate a consistent result showing that the differences in vibrations can be demonstrated in how it is felt in the body. Not necessarily identified by the thinking part of your brain but the gut feeling. I have worked closely with a fellow musician to present the sounds in a clear and concise way so that we can get a relatively unbiased experience in the sound field. This presentation will demonstrate by sound samples different ways of expressing sound and comparing what the response to those sounds are. This is a deep listening presentation to explore how much we might be influenced around how we receive sound.

I was sitting on the deck of a friend’s house after returning from the summer intensive at Globe Institute. I had put it out to the universe that I needed a topic. On this particular day the sound of a hummingbird caught my attention. That sound has always been enjoyable, but mysterious to me, and I decided right there it would be my topic.

Emus are the second largest bird species and are native to Australia. They possess an amazing ability to sense vibrations in their environment. This ability is crucial for their survival, aiding in navigation, communication, and predator detection. The emu's perception of vibrations also holds spiritual symbolism in Indigenous Australian cultures, reflecting a profound connection between these birds and the land they inhabit. This paper speaks to the world of emu vibration perception, exploring both its biological functions and its rich spiritual connotations.
